  This was a visit to the roof top bar which was relatively quiet but needed some music playing through speakers or a live band because it felt a bit quiet. It wasn't hugely busy but an atmosphere is what makes a nice bar. The weather was quite windy but we couldn't do anything about that of course. It was nice to visit there though. I would recommend going there to experience, I think it is a new feature they just opened to be honest.

  Internally there isn’t a decent bar, during the daytime there is a cafe (like taking a drink in a library!) and by evening, there is a Piano Bar which opens at 9.00pm with live music. On the night of our stay (28th December) the music hadn’t started by 10.30 but this bar also lacked any atmosphere whatsoever. Luckily there are numerous other bars and restaurants within a short walk from the hotel, mostly under the same ownership as the hotel itself!

  One of the best hotels we have enjoyed in our lives and being surrounded by 3 championship golf courses just makes it extraordinarily great! Wonderful service, brilliant rooms but just one major omission.
